Can I run under my own MC/DOT authority?
No, you will need to run under our MC and DOT authority and with our liability and cargo insurance policies.
How do I earn above average gross?
For owner operators to earn higher than average gross, our model is to run in high freight density regions, delivering about 1 load per 1-2 days depending on the length of the run. These one-day runs allow the owner operator to accumulate higher gross for each day they're on the road and cut back on fuel costs. The driver should have flexibility in running areas/times in order to accomplish this, as well as be willing to apply more advanced HOS allowances such as the Sleeper Berth Provision ("Splits") and running on recap hours.
Can I choose my running areas and schedule?
Yes, although when doing so we do not guarantee you will meet our company-wide gross revenue averages.
Can I book my own loads?
No, only our dispatchers can book loads with our MC and setup contracts with brokers.
Do I get the rate confirmations?
Yes, they will be emailed to you.
Is there a fuel discount?
Yes, $0.12 per gallon at Pilot, Flying J, TA, Petro, and Loves.
Do you provide plates & registration?
We are currently working on opening an IRP account through the IL Secretary of State in order to do this.
Do you have a passenger policy?
Yes, one adult passenger (18+ years old) may be in the truck at a time, after authorization documents have been completed with the safety department.
Do you have an age limit on the equipment?
No, as long as a recent DOT vehicle annual inspection is provided. Trucks manufactured before 2000 must still use our ELD provider but will manually enter drive time.
